Last summer I was lucky enough to join team Banjo on Interior Design Masters for a few days for the season finale with Buck & Bear Design, and it had been so hard to keep it a secret! Scroll below for some behind the scenes photos. Myself and Carlie (Buck & Bear) worked on Banjo's design for the huge copper gilded door, which was carefully aged back to suit the room, this is a huge feature in the main bar at 21 Soho, London.This was in my true Bland Design style of copper leaf gilding and aging.
I also created the bespoke copper gilded bar in the smaller downstairs area, along with the copper gilded walls behind, again all carefully aged back.
Banjo had brought along Molly to help in the finale and together they were an amazing team, both were an absolute pleasure and an inspiration to work with. It was a whirlwind of a few days at 21 Soho in London, but an incredible experience. Below are some photos of the process and the finished pieces which Carlie and myself created over the few days working for the show.
